Morphed Axolotls

Description

Colours available: Black, White, Mosaic and Melanoid copper.

Some of our axolotls have undergone metamorphosis, meaning they are now salamanders, they have lost their gills, dorsal fin and their eyes are more pronoun, they are still healthy and are now living off of live worms and some bloodworms, we make sure to keep their environment moist and give them access to water.

This is a rare process of an axolotl changing into its adult body. axolotls are actually salamanders that have not fully developed yet, they remain in their ‘ larvae’ stage their whole life. The process can happen due to a few reasons and sometimes just random.

Disclaimer: we do not support forced metamorphosis on axolotls as it is a very stressful process, however we want the best life for the ones we have and hope to safely re-home them.

SIZING:

Our Morphs are around 16cm in length, making them roughly around 1-2 years old.

Shipping of Morphed Axolotls is every Monday and Tuesday,
Our Morphs are sent with Team Global Express and packed with dampened moss inside a container with holes for oxygen, packed inside a Styrofoam box to insulate and regulate the temperature for them.
Shipping is $65 for Metro areas and $125 for Non Metro and includes up to 3 Axolotls per shipment.
